A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Gracious Father, Today we come before You with grateful hearts, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You.

Thank You for Your constant presence, for Your mercy that greets us each morning, and for Your faithfulness that carries us through every season. Thank You for the blessings we can see— family, friends, provision, and protection— and for the quiet blessings we often overlook— the breath in our lungs, the peace in our souls, and the hope You place in our hearts.

Lord, teach us to live with a spirit of gratitude, not only in moments of abundance, but in the ordinary and the difficult places too. Let thankfulness shape our thoughts, soften our words, and guide our actions. As we reflect on Your goodness, stir in us a desire to serve others generously, just as You have been so generous with us.

May our lives overflow with praise and point others to the goodness of Jesus. Amen.
