A Prayer For Mourning

Today I bring before You a heart that is heavy with grief. Lord, You know the depth of this pain, the emptiness that loss leaves behind, and the tears that fall in silence. Your Word reminds us that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

I ask for Your comforting presence to surround our mourning souls. Wrap us in Your peace that surpasses all understanding. When the nights feel long and the days overwhelming, remind us that You are still near—steady, unchanging, and faithful.

Bring moments of rest to our weary souls, and gently fill the ache with the hope of eternity, where every tear will be wiped away. Lord, may our sorrow be met with Your love, our questions with Your mercy, and our brokenness with Your healing.

We trust You to carry us when we cannot carry ourselves. Thank You for being our refuge, our comfort, and our hope in the midst of mourning.
