A Prayer For When Life Isn't Going As Planned

Lord, I come before You with a heart that feels unsettled and weary. Things in my life aren’t unfolding the way I thought they would, and I confess that I feel disappointed, confused, and sometimes even afraid. Yet even in the midst of the unexpected, I know You are still faithful.

Lord, remind me that Your ways are higher than mine, and Your plans are good even when I can’t see the full picture. Help me to release my need for control and place my trust in Your perfect timing. Teach me to rest in the truth that You are working all things together for my good and for Your glory.

Fill me with peace when the unknown feels heavy, and strengthen my faith to believe that You are writing a story far greater than I could imagine. May I cling to Your promises and walk forward in hope, knowing You will never leave or forsake me.
