A Prayer For Christmas

As we draw near to the holy night of Christ’s birth, we pause to quiet our hearts before You.

In the midst of busy days and full calendars, help us remember that this season is a gift— an invitation to wait, to hope, and to love more deeply.

Thank You for the promise fulfilled in Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Where there is weariness, bring rest. Where there is fear, bring peace.

Where there is longing, remind us that You are near.

Teach us to love as You love— with open hands, humble hearts, and joyful obedience, like Mary who said yes to Your will. Prepare our hearts to welcome Christ anew, not only in celebration, but in the way we live, the way we serve, and the way we love others.

May our homes be filled with Your presence, our words with kindness, and our lives with gratitude for the greatest gift of all. We wait with hope. We rejoice with joy. We welcome You with love.
