What Memorial Day Means to Me: We are Free in Christ!

Memorial Day has always been a special holiday for me. Both of my grandpas served in the military!

I Love the picture above! It's my brother, husband, mom, grandma and sister...we took this photo two Memorial Days ago when they each took a moment from the celebration to pose for a photo.

Sometimes it is hard for me to wrap my mind around Jesus dying for us- our freedom. We are free in Christ.

But we are also so blessed to live in the United States.

Hot Dogs, BBQs, Fireworks, Family, Ellyandgrace sales :wink: ....they are all so much fun!

We shouldn't forget the true purpose of Memorial Day when we also honor those who gave their lives so we could be free.
