One Little Word
One Little Word. Have you ever tried this? Last year was my first year, and my word of the year was REST.
There were days that I did a great job, and there were days that were...not so great.
1 Peter 5:7 says "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
There were a lot of things in 2017 that made me very anxious...and 80% of those things were things I couldn't control. 2017 was a year of extreme joy and extreme pain...and so when I was thinking about what I wanted 2018 to look like- I almost instantly knew the word.
My word of the year is PEACE. You might notice a peace theme coming into some of my designs this year.
To Seek Peace and Pursue It.
Peace about where I am in my life, peace about my family, peace about my relationships, and peace about ellyandgrace.
I've always been the type that gets hyper stressed out about the little things, and I think peace is the perfect word for me going into 2018.
