My Favorite Christian Summer Reads
If you know me, you know that I'm always reading a book on my kindle!
I've gotten so many GOOD recommendations lately that I wanted to share them with you all!
NON-FICTION
I was able to see Lysa speak at the I Am Woman conference at my church, but I read her book before that and LOVED it!
If you've ever struggled with loneliness or not feeling like you're enough, this book is for you!

I LOVE PODCASTS! And I really love The Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey, so when I heard that she was writing a book, I knew it was a MUST have.
The great thing about Jamie is that she's so open about her story about finding God and her struggles.
If you've ever thought "God will never love me because of what I've done"....you should read this book!
When your Pastor writes a book...it's gotta go on the list right?
I Love when Pastor Nicole preaches, and this book is amazing. It's an easy read, 60 days of devotionals.
FICTION
When I found out my friend Brandi was writing a book I was THRILLED!
But what if I hated it? I should have never doubted her skills...because I read this book in one day.
It was so good and at the end, my face looked exactly like that emoji...you know the one! REALLY big eyes and a straight mouth...I couldn't put it down.
This is one of the better books I've read all year!
Romance, suspense....this book has it all!

I recently finished the latest book in the Cedar Cove Series- one of my FAVORITE series of all time!
I LOVED the Hallmark Series, and the books are just as good.
Each book focuses on a different set of characters from Cedar Cove, and how their lives all intersect.
I always feel like I'm going home when I'm reading these books because I'm so familiar with all the characters!

I read this book a few years ago, but it's always stuck with me.
I thought it was going to be a light beach read...and it definitely was not.
It was about three girls in WWII- an american girl, a jewish girl, and a german girl and how their lives intersect.
I definitely shed some tears while reading, but it was worth it!

The Gratitude Jar is excellent !
I am reading “When God Doesn’t Fix It” by Laura Story. Great book about her life and the struggles she and her husband faced and how it impacted her faith.
Hi,
One of my recommendations for non-fiction will be “Play with fire” by Bianca Olthoff…WHAT A BOOK! loved it :)
Then for fiction hands down…“Redeeming love” by Francine Rivers…it really speaks volumes on God’s love for us.
