2020 Year in Review
This year has been a whirlwind (and I’m not even going to talk about covid!)
Most importantly though- we would not have gotten through this year without all of our incredible customers. Thank you for shopping with my business. I appreciate you!
Personal- This year, Grace was born. She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 4 months and now she only has to sleep in her brace. We are hoping that she will get out of it after her next appointment in February!
It was HARDER than I thought to balance being a mom and business owner, and I struggled with taking maternity leave. I’m still not great at it, but thanks to our incredible team, it’s getting better!
Business- We learned how to safely operate during a pandemic, added some amazing ladies to our team, and launched “Jesus is Essential” and “Love Thy Neighbor” - designs that reminded people to focus on Jesus and loving others.
After needing to move for the last year or so, we finally found the perfect building and moved in September.
We launched our “premium” collection, which are items made in the USA and exclusives to us! Some went really well, some didn’t, but we are learning this new process slowly.
I struggled this past month when USPS didn’t deliver packages when they said they would and we got some angry calls and emails. (It’s really hard for me personally when something is out of my control- I’m a bit of a control freak. 2020 has really taught me I need to let go more!) But, most people were understanding and were very kind.
I’m excited for 2021 and I hope you are too! If you’ve read this far, Thank you SO much for being a member of the ellyandgrace community!
Every like, save, share, comment & order helps small businesses so much- we appreciate you!
Love,
Brenna
