In God We Trust
Trust.
That's a hard one.
I think I speak for everyone when I say someone close to you has probably broken your trust or hurt you in some way.
But the bottom line is - we are human, and that's going to happen.
People are going to fail us, and even bring us to the point of brokenness, where it's hard to know who's actually in our circle.
One thing to remember during those trying, sometimes heartbreaking, seasons is there is One we can ALWAYS trust.
We can always put our trust in God, and He will never fail us. He won't betray us. He will only wrap His arms around us and lead us through the craziness of life.
Listen to HIS voice and let Him lead.
In your disappointment and heaviness, know you're not alone. He's walking right beside you every step.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

It’s hard for me to trust people and even harder when I do let them in my circle and that trust is broken 😕 I know God is the only one who is always there and always faithful, but it makes for a lonely existence this side of heaven when friendships are broken 😔
Joshua 1:9 and Psalm 56:3 are verses I’ve been leaning on as I battle cancer. They fill me with hope and remind me to trust in God!
