4 Things I Do When I'm Stressed

1. Recognize what is happening.
2. Admit that I need help.
3. Turn to God and know He's there.
4. Open the Word and see what He has to say about it!

My personality leans more towards stress pretty much all the time. (Anyone else??) But the great thing is that God is always there!⁠

SO...once you recognize what you're doing, go immediately to the Word.⁠

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. – Colossians 3:2⁠

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:2⁠

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. - Philippians 4:6⁠

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. - Philippians 4:8⁠

And if you have to hang these somewhere for you to see every day, DO IT until it's engrained. It really helps so much!
